He was in his 86th year. The only survivor is a sister, Mrs. Ann Hefner, Clinton. His wife predeceased .him in 1948. He was a member of Ontario Street United Church, Clinton. Service was on Monday after- noon from the Ball and Mutch funeral home, with Rev. Grant Mills officiating. Temporary en- tombment was in Clinton mausol- eum, to be followed by burial 'lat- er in Dundalk cemetery: Mrs; E. Crawford Rev. D. J. Lane, minister of Blyth Presbyterian Church, offic- iated Thursday afternoon, Feb- rnary 6, in the Tasker Memorial Chapel, Blyth, at a funeral ser- vice for Mrs. Ellen Crawford, who died Monday in Clinton Public Hospital. Pallbearers were William and Bert -Bunking, Gordon Elliott, Leonard Schdbbrook, Clarence Crawford and Moody Holland. Burial' followed in Hope Chapel• Cemetery, Hullett Township. Born in Clinton, he spent the greater part of his life in. Win- nipeg in real estate business, coming to London later to work as an office clerk. He retired to Clinton several years ago, He was a member of Ontario Street United Church, He is survived by his wife, the former Frankie Lent; one daugh- ter, Mrs. E. J. (-Doris) Sproule, Winnipeg; one son, Fred; Victoria, B. C.; one brother, Bert, Toronto; and two sisters, Misses Maude and Elva Wiltse, Clinton. His step- mother also survives.
