The col- lection amounted to $6.06, Five dollars' will be sent to the T.B. Association. Plans were made for a party to be held at the school during the Christmas holidays. An exchange of Christmas gifts took place after the business ses- sion. Lunch was served by the hostess and her group. Charles Parkinson, Lonclan was high in the 50 target race with ICharles Brandon, Clin- ton, runner-up. ;Brandon was high over all on 75 targets, with John Anderson, Hensall, and Mrs, Bertha Temple, Hamilton, runners - up (tied). Noble Grand Mrs. William Caldwell, presided for the meeting. Changes Owners The Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall, owned by Earl Burtt, has been sold to Mr. and Mrs. Orville A. E. Jones, Lucknow, who took possession this week on December 1. Mr. Burtt who came to Hen- sell from St. Marys a year ago was unable to continue on with the nursing home owing to ill health, Mr. Miller was a flour miller at Lucknow, and Mrs. Jones who was on the staff of a private hospital at Lucknow, for four years is a graduate of Clinton Hospital. They have a family of one son Kenneth, and one daughter Louise. Discussion centred around the Christmas party for the Red Cross, Eric Reid Old Soldiers Home at London, and Monday, December 16, was chosen as the date, when some 30 men at the home will be entertained and presented with Christmas parcels, and served lunch.
