Miles Hullett Township farmers were told last Wednesday night that marketing is the major problem facing agriculture. "You are doing a pretty fair job---ibut I doubt if it is good enough," said • Douglas H. Miles, agricultural representative -.for Huron' County. "In the.near fut- une you are going to be called upon to say how you are going to market your farm, produCts. Farm people are individualists — they like to gamble. I am concerned with the great number of farm- ers who are taking the gamble oat, of agriculture," Mr. Miles was speaking at the annual meeting of Hullett Town- ship Federation of Agriculture. CriticisYn Referring to criticism at the Ontario Federation of Agriculture meeting in Toronto that the or- ganization's president, Lloyd Jas- per, Mildmay, was "talking from the , top down," Mr. Miles said "someone has to do the leading.
