Last Friday, CDCI's magazine
campaign begn with the students
hoping for another successful
season. Several factors point to-
ward better results this year" than
ever liefore.
The student canvassers can, for
the first time, offer their cust-
omers' a complete selection of
magazines all published by one
company. Since the magazines
are being -sold by the school, sub-
scribers can assist the collegiate
financially at no extra cost.
Speaking to the students Thurs-
day, Mr. Ferguson, director of
the campaign, announced that a
trophy would be presented to- the
school with the highest per capita
sales in this district. He sincerely
hoped that C.D.C.I. would receive
the honour.
Patricia Irwin, student of grade
11, received "five dollars for her
efforts, an 'incentive 'to others for
additional good salesmanship. Her
name was &awn at random to
receive the award if she had sold
a subscriptiOn between Friday and
Monday.
At the completion of the two
reek campaign the winner will
have his choice of either a movie
camera or a luggage set, while
some lucky canvasser, whose name
will be drawn, will receive a
telephone installed: free in his own
room and financed for one year.
With such incentives, enthus-
iastic students at C.D,C.I. should
make this year's magazine cam-
paign a glowing success.
