A new style feeder eteer club
is being oiiganized by the Belgrave
Farmer's Co-operative- in co-oper-
ation with the Ontario Depart-
ment of Agriculture. Aimed at
developing knowledge 'on the sel-
ection, feeding and marketing of
beef cattle, the club will gather
information on the most econ-
omical methods, factors influenc-
ing gain, and make comparisons.

market four steers, beginning from

tween August 15 and September
15,-1958, in accordance with rules
and regulations. .
Club members inust be between
12 and 30 years of age. They may

their borne sherd, or from any oth-
er source, but they must weigh
from 400 to 800 . pounds, with
differential 'betweenthe lightest
and heaviest animals of no more
than 100 pounds.
The steers are weighed on a
public scale some thne ,between
November 1-7, and at that time
will be identified by ear tag or
tattoo. A market yalue will be
plated on them at that time by
the management committee. They
will be marketed on a rail grade
basis. Records will be forwaded
to the committee monthly and
visits will be made to the premises.
