Authorities report that the disease is relatively mild, and does not in any way approach the severity of the "Spanish" 'flu' of 1918. Respiratory complications can result from the Asian variety, however, and may be serious, esp- splendid job done, Flt/Lt. J. M. THE CLINTON NEWS-RECORD sells - COUNTER CHECK BOOKS 100 Air Cadets Find llorne,At Station• Clinton The more than `100 member Maitland Air Cadet Squadron, Goderich, have taken up new train- ing quarters in the hangar at RCAF Station Clinton The Maitland Cadets, who have trained at Sky Hailbor in previous years, moved to the new location through the kind permission of G/C K. C. Cameron, commanding officer of the station. A bus brings the local and district cadets to the station on training nights. With the parade on Tuesday, October 3, everyone connected with the squadron was very pleased with the new quarters, Cadets will have the use of one half of the hangar for the general fall-in parade, drill, sports and films; also- four large classrooms, ,and- the indoor rifle range. Other space made available in- cludes three offices, One will be used by the. commanding officer and padre, one for the adjutant and chief instructor, and one set up as a supply retell, for issue of equipment to cadets. Training will be much the same type as before, but it is generally felt by the officers and instructors that this move, with the extra facilities for training, should bring a great future for the squadron. Flying Officer D. King, RCAF Station Clinton, Who for the past year has been liaison officer for 532 squadron, has done much to fur- ther the aims of the. squadron particularly in the last few weeks in arranging the move from Sky Harbor to Clinton, Many hours of planning and hard work have gone into this and the officers, instructors and cadets would like to give their sincere thanks for the WESTINGHOUSE WASHER eelally in the extremes of youth and age, and the debilitated.
