meeting, at which 12-members and
three visitors attended. Among

and other ladies in the burned out
area of Skeed, Ontario, thanking
the Club for boxes of new and used
clothing sent by the Club , and
Turner's Church Woman's Assoc-

members decided not to hold
a bazaar ar bake sale this fall. A
reading by Mrs. Jahns and an int-
eresting account of a trip to 'Que-
bec given by Mrs. Ernest •C'rich
campleted the meeting, and lunch

Mrs. Thos. Dodds
Mrs. Thomas Dodds, 79, Clinton,
died Tuesday morning in the Clin-
ton Public Hospital where she had
been confined for the past seven
years, She had suffered' a fractur-
ed hip one week ago, following a
fall in the hospital.
Born 'in. Londesboro she moved
to Chickga after her marriage
and following her huSband's death
in 1948 she came to Clinton. She
was a member of St. Andrew's
Pregbyterian Church.
Surviving are one son, Albert
Clayton, Chicago, Ill.; three sisz
tens, Mrs. Emma Cudmore, Clin-
ton; Mrs, Lucy Shaddick, Londes-
bora, and Mrs. Minnie Knox, Cam-
rose, Alta.; two brothers, William
Bromley, lyth and John Bromley,
Londesboro.
Services will be held Thursday
afternoon at two o'clock from the
Ball and Match funeral home,
Clinton, with the Rev. D. J. Lane
officiating; Burial will be in the
Clinton Cemetery.
