Miss Sylvia Fitzsimons, who re-
cently attended Huron Church
Camp, gave the scholars of Trinity
Church, Sunday. School a very fine
description of activities and exper-
iences at camp.
Mrs. Reg. Weary and Ricky, re-
turned to Essex on Tuesday after
having visited her sister, Mre
Harry Baker for a few days. Mr.
Weary was also here for the week-
end.

the Jowett cottages for .a fort-

London the first of the week after
having visited her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Baker at "Wheel-In".
Mrs. Robinson leaves the end of
the week to join her husband at
Elliott Lake.
Miss Margaret Stephenson, Reg.
N., Toronto, is holidaying with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. T. Steph-

Mrs. Ralph Nicholls spent the
weekend with her mother, Mrs.

day by train for Chicegoe to fly
to Palo Alto, Calif., to .join her
husband Dr. Ralph Nicholls, Dr.
Nicholls is engaged in consulting
work at the University -there for
the month of August.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Holm, Mr.
and Mrs. John Jefferson and Lin-
da, Preston, were in .the village
on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Quigg (formerly Etta Holm) and
two children; William and Robert
left Preston on Tuesday of last
week, driving their ear and truck,
to reside in Victoria, B. C.
The Rev. Laverne Morgan and a
group of 22 young people from St.
John'e Episcopal Church, Midland,
Midi., worshipped in Trinity
Church on Sunday morning. They
had attended the Shakespearian
.Festival, stayed in Grand Bend all
night, and came to Trinity, of
which Mx.! Morgan was a former
rector, after which they had din-
ner at Rau's, before returning
home. This was a project planned
by the 'group last winter.
Hayfield's grand old lady, Mrs,
Miss Brenda Stirling is visiting
her aunt, Mrs. Sam Argyle, Lon*,
don for a week,

from Friday until. Tuesday. They

short vacation with Mrs. William

for the first two weeks in August.

Mary who have been on a motor
