The regular monthly meeting
of the Huron Fish and Game
Conservation Association was held
on the second day of July start-
ing with an organized *ark party
at 7 p.m. on the alb farm;
The manual labour went on till
9 p.m. and was carried out ef-
ficiently by a very large attend-
ance. The work consisted' of
cutting out dangerous weeds and
brushes on the property and clean-
ing up old brush piles.
The meeting followed and ran
smoothly througih. the • evening.
One of the most interesting pro-
jects
rojests was started at this meeting
by our Club grounds chairman,
Tom. Murphy. This was, the de-
velopment of penned animals at
our Club grounds in Alma Grave.
This is to bea. long range pro-
gram and to prove beneficial to
all Conservation minded citizens.
Note: An offence under The
gest Firesr Prevention Act can
bar anyone from getting a hunting
licence in Ontario for up to five

introduced last year in Bill 109.

ment Act, 1956," passed by the

For Second Time

this season here last Friday
night,
Ken Patterson, Clinton's win-
ningest pitcher, cracked out a

cher players Allan Wilson,
Youngblutt, Bierman, Edgar and
McKay — are all away at summer -
school or other employment. For-
ced to platy were Frank McDonnell
with a beeken finger and Soucy
who had not played for sorne time.
;Patterson; struck ofut 11 batters
while Steve Mitro, Dashwood's
import pitcher only fanned eight.
Ray Wein pitched pant of the
seventh inning for Dashwood and
,allowed fonts hits for four *Colt
runs. lVMtro went back in to Finn
