Most Worshipful W. L, Wright, D.C., D.C.L., Sault Ste, Marie,
to Huron District of the Masonic lodge. an the unique photo,
in recording the fact that at the same time the Clinton Lodge
had four Past District Deputy Grand Masters ail active members •

Rathwell-Graham
On Saturday, May 11; at 3
p.m, Oakwood United Church,
Lindsay, was the scene of a very
pretty wedding, when Elizabeth
Margaret, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Archie Graham, Oakwood,
became the. bride of John Robert
(Jack) Rathwell, Toronto, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rathwell,
Brucefield.
Rev. H. Hunter officiated at
the double ring ceremony, amid a
setting of spring flowers.
The wedding music was played
by Miss Beverley McIntyre and
Harold Jenkins sang "The Lord's
Prayer" before the bride entered
the church, on the arm of her
father, and "Because" during the
signing ,of the register.
The bride wore a floor length
gown of white nylon tulle, design..
ed on princess lines, with bouf-
fant skirt. The square neckline,
sleeves, mitts and skirt were trim-
med with a triple row of minut-
ely appliqued daises) Her cir-
cular finger tip. veil of silk illus-
ion was caught to a head dress de-
signed as, a crown showered with
with sequins. She carried a white
Bible crested with a mauve or-
chid,
The bride's attendants were
Mrs. Joseph Gordon, Toronto, sis-
ter of the bride, attractively gow-
ned in braze crystalette, and
Miss Betty Ann Lazenby, Belle-
ville, niece of the groom demurely
dressed in. sea foam green crystal,-
ette. They carried cascades of
yellow sweetheart roses. and sweet
peas.
The groom was attended by Ro-
bert Lave, St. Catherines.
Ushers were Thomas Graham,
Oakwood, and Caineran Maltby,
Peterborough.
Legion Auxiliary
Regular Meeting
At the regular monthly meeting
of the Ladies Auxiliary to the
Canadian Legion, held in the Leg-
ion Memorial Hail, on May 13,
four new members were received
Into the Auxiliary.
Several members attended the
Zone Rally in Kincardine, May 9,
and heard very encouraging re-
ports from all Auxiliaries in the
Zone. An inspiring address was
given by Mrs. Rose Manning, third
vice -president, Provincial Com-
mand. .
$50 will be Sent to the Canadian
Legion and Ladies' Auxiliary
Scholarship Fund.. $25 will be
sent to an injured comrade in
hospital.
Mrs. S. Castle won the draw.
Following the Meeting a very
dainty lunch was served by Mrs.
Cameron Proctor's group, and en-
joyed by all.
A reception was held for over
70 guests at the TOOF Hall, Lind-
say, where the -bride's mother re-
ceived, wearing a dusty rose
dress of crepe and lace with navy
accessories and corsage of yellow
sweetheart roses. The groom's
mother assisted dressed in figured
blue satin with accessories in
white and corsage of pink sweet-
heart roses.
For a motor trip to the South-
ern States, the bride chose a suit
of horizon 'blue with black and
white accessories and orchid cor-
sage. On their return, Mr. and
Mrs. Rathwell .will reside in To-
ronto.
Out of town guests were from
Brucefield, Longlac, Belleville,
Hamilton, Parry Sound, Bramp-
ton, St. Catherines and Peter-
borough.
