On Friday night, RObert Miller, 50 year old proprietor of the gen, eral store at Farquhar, RR 1, Kirkton, was killed in a car-truck crash three miles south of Exeter. Miller was alone in" his pick-up truck going west on the county line. In the car travelling on Highway 4, were Alec Hyde, RA 3, Kippen, who suffered a broken arm, and was released from South Heron Hospital, Exeter, on Sun- day, Taken 'to St, Joseph's Hospital, on Monday, were Mrs. Hyde, suffering a broken ankle and head injuries; their daughter, Marjorie, 14, suffering broken bones in her left hand and head injuries. Mrs. Inez Bodenham, Hayfield, with 'a fractured left arm, is in. South Huron Hospital; Jean Hyde, 18, another daughter of A. Hyde, suffered bruises, only, and was released from hospital. An inquest .was called for yesterday, April 24, in the Exeter town hall, presided over by Cor- oner Dr. J. C. Goddard, Hensall, with Crown, Attorney Glen 'Hays, Goderich, examining witnesses. The ladies of the Londesboro W. A, held their April meeting in the Sunday school rooms with 21. members and one visitor present. Mrs. Durnin opened the meeting.
