Happy Workers Authorize Gifts Totalling $40 The'April meeting of the Happy Workers' Club was held at Mrs. William Holland, on Thursday, April 4, with 10 members present. A letter from Mrs. Sloman thank- ing the club for the bale was read. The mystery prize was won by Mrs. Elgin Dale. Lunch was ser- ved by Mrs. Warren Gibbings and Mrs. Kenneth Williams. The roll call will be a' donation for a layette. The next meeting will be held at Mrs. Warren Gibbing's, with Group 5 in charge of lunch, The Wingham. Club invited the alintomans to the area picnic July 1.0. This is a smaller number than in previous years due to the renovations now underway at the hatchery at Chatsworth, However, there will be more next year. Smelt On April 15 the smelt put in their first appearance at Port Al- beit. The best part of the run lasted approximately one hour with the greatest number taken being two pailfuls and part of a haver- sack.
