Miss Lucy R. WOO& presided
at the meeting of 'the Woman's
Auxiliary of Trinity Church held
at "The Hut" on Thursday after-
noon.
It was opened with The Litany.
Mrs. R. rLarson read the Scrip-
ture,
Mrs. Larson read the secretary's
report and the• president read the
financial statement for 1956.
A letter re: the forming of a
film library for Huron `County in
conjunction with grey and Bruce
was read by.Mrs. Lorson. It was
suggested that the rector, the
Rev, W. S. Outerbridge attend the
meeting for this' purpose, in the
agricultural office board room,
Clinton, later in the month.
The subject of a prayer part-
ner was introduced `and the sec-
retary instructed to write to the
diocesan secretary.
Mrs. J. B. Higgins, read a most
interesting 'excerpt on "Fellow-
ship" from the Grace Church
parish magazine, Brantford.
Fallowing the closing prayers,
and grace, Mrs. R. J. Larson, hos-
tess! served tea.

son Reid Were sorry to hear of
her accident and wish her a
speedy recovery.

the roll call, A hymn was sung.
Mrs. Taylor read a story and Peg-
gy, MoAsh.read the Scripture from
Mark 16. A story was read by
Carol Taylor. Mrs. M.cAsh led in
prayer.
`Margaret Aldington and Shirley
Mustard are the work and wor-
ship twins for next month and
Sharon Dowton is to read' a story.
Mrs. IVIcAsh read a verse from
the Bible. The meeting closed by
the singing of a hymn.

New $20 Million
Hospital School
May Be In Hurt%
Tom Pryde, Huron MPP, re-
waled to County Council last
week that he hopes that a $20
million hospital school for retarded
children will be erected in the
county, The province already op,,
crates two „such schools, one at
Smith Falls and another at Or-
The Department of Health and
Public Works are expected to call
for tenders for the school this
year: Estimatls for preliminary
expenditures appeared in the 1956
budget of the province.
The new school will be designed
to accommodate 2,000 children,
with a staff 4)0500 to operate it.
Sites suggested by Mr: Pryde have
ibeen along the Blue Water High-
way where a quiet atmosphere in ar
rural area would combine with
closeness to urban.centres for con-
venience.
It is estimated that up to 300
acres will, be needed for the
school. A talking point in,-Hur-
on's favour is that the province
