From Magistrate._,
°
Word has been received here
(from the News-Record's Western.
Canada correspondent, Mr. Marsh
Morrish i Saskatoon) of another
Clinton old ,boy. E. 5, Williams,
Q.C,, Regina, will retire at the
end of January from a 1.7 year
term as provincial magistrate and
will take up duties with a law
firm in his home city. Mr. Will-
iams is married and has one son,
Richard and a daughter, Helen.
Mr. Morrish recalls, tlifit this
veteran lawyer was the son of Dr.
Williams; who lived just off .Al-
bert Street on Whitehead, up on
Vinegar Hill. „
It need hardly be. said that Mr.
Williams has -brought honour to
his ' birthplace, and is considered
in Saskatchewan to be one of the
best magistrates. In that province
officials look upon •his retirement
with regret.
