Early last Thursday morning,
at about 1.30 a.m. Stewart Middle-
ton was awakened by an 'unac-
counted for car which came into
.the yard and didn't go out. Stew-
art crept 'downstairs and oat the
back door, and surprised a man in
the act of pumping up gas. As
Stewart turned on the yard light,
illuminating the man' and his un-
usual earr the latter leaped-into
his car and droVe •off in great
haste.
ft isn't enough, apparently, that
farmers get the lowest prices for
their goods, of;any producers; they
must keep things under lock and
key like city folks! A word of
warning to the wise is sufficient.
