The SS No. 4, Goderich Town-
ship Forum met at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Fred ,Lobb, with 12
members present. The topic dis-
cussed was "The Role of the Del-
egate in Farm Organization." '
The members • of • the forum
think that the system in Ontario
is quite democratie, the repre-
sentation comes right down to
township leVel. They feel that a
delegate representation to the
Canadian Federation of Agricul-
ture annual would rewire a very
large number of delegates • to
give adequate representation;
therefore the expense would be
very great.
A few carefully selected dele-
gates with. farmers' interests and
qpinions, should be able to ac-
complish as much. We would not
be in favour of increasing the
budget to send delegates to make
up a larger convention, If the
C.F.A. had a delegate convention,
the members think the delegates
should be chosen by the Provincial
Federation.
Following the •discussion, there
was a recreation period, consisting
of games of "500". Lunch was
served. The heat meeting will be
on January 7, at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Robin E. Thompson,
