from the moderator through Rev.
D. 3. Lane, clerk, bringing greet-
ings from the Presbytery. It was
read by the corresponding secre-
tary, Miss Belle Campbell, Din-
ner was, 'Served by the ladies of
the church.
In the afternoon the devotional
exercises; were donducted by the
Arondl Circle, Henson, An "In
Memoriam" was conducted by Mrs.
0. Anderson, Belgtave.
The guest speaker for the after-
noon was Mrs. A. Hamilton, At-
wood. Mrs. Hamilton, is president
of the London-Hamilton Synodical
from which she brought greetings.
She told of the relationship be-
twen presbyterials and synodic-
als, giving many interesting facts
about missionaries at home and
overseas and told' of the great
need for more missionaries,. She
suggested greater use of 'the glue
Book. and Glad Tidings. She also
gave a resume of Stewardship'
from the sermons of Rev. E. Bur-
nett and Closed by saying "We
are stewards of 'God's `royal
household, and must be obedient
to our Commander Jesus Christ.
We must have the same mind as
our Master. We must reach up
and but in our work if, we are, to
be good- stewards for Min." • .
Mrs. D. J. Lane, Clinton, intro-
duced the speaker and Mrs. J. F.
Scott thanked her.

held in Germany recently, and is
returning to his work in. Tokyo,
through the United States where
he will visit groups who are o-
