The evening was spent in music, singing, reading and social that, 1 • Hydro Picnic At Elliott's Grove The emplOyees of the Ontario Hydro, Clinton, held their annual Picnic on Saturday, August 27 at Hart's Haven, Elliott's Grove. Re- freshments and food were in good supply and the event proved a complete success. - The afternoon began with a soft- ball game between the ladies, and led by "sluggers" T. Denomme and T. Hartley outclassed and outscor- ed the stumbling and butter-fing- ered males. June was showered with confetti from bal- loons which hung above her head and was then presented with num- erous' gifts.
