death of Neil Tully, Peterboro,
who was killed in a car accident.
'Mrs. Tully's mother was the for-
mer Miss Lorna Aikenhead, Bruce-
field.

Mrs. Fairservice was a success-
ful public school teacher for sev-
eral years,
Since- their marriage they have
resided on the Tenth CenceSsion
of Mullett Township on the home-
stead where the family of Fair-
service had been established for
many years. This hOrnesteact has
been one of the show places of
Hullett Township.

Anne Fairservice, Mrs: Louis
Vogel received the gifts and as,
sisted in registering the guests.
The celebrating couple have
two children, Flying Officer David

troit, and these three are the only'
ones surviving out of a family of
Mr. Fairservic0' has two broth-•
rs living, Will and John, and a
Sister, Mrs, Mary Crittenden,
Clinton, also three sisters in the
West.

Word' has been received of the
retirement of Arthur Alvin Bruns-
don, CPR agent at Assiniboia,
Sask., , at the age of 65 years,
Mrs. Brunsdon was born at .Le .0
desboro in 1891 and apprenticed
to the Grand Trunk Railway sy.s.-tern there in ,1906.
The following year he entered',
the service of the G,T,R. as assist-
ant clerk at Clinton and• was pre-
raoted. to signalman Sri September,
7,A, year later ,he became telegraph-
er at Sarnia and then jo5ied the CPR at London on June 4, 1909,
After worting at Woodstock,
Guelph, Galt.. and Streetsville
Junction, he was transferred to
Saskatoon in 1912 and has worked
in the province of Saskatchewan
ever since.
It is ,expected that Mr. Brunsdon
will visit, his mother in Londes-
boro soon and also other' relatives
and friends in this part of Canada.

The end of the dock caught
and this was extinguished by the
local fire brigade.
