Mr. and Mrs. 0, A. Kaibfleiseb,
•Chesley, called on Mrs. Robert
Seotchmer on Monday. It'was 25
years since Mr. Kalibfleis'cii left
here having been princi'tiral of Bay-
field Public School. He is now
principal at Chesley. Mr. Kalb-
fleisch• had been to see the new
Bayfield Public School. He ad-
mired it, but in conversation with
Mrs.' Scotchtner, he said that he
had been teaching when two new
schools had been built during his
term, This school was of much,
the same .design, and' he felt that
he could improve on them in sev-
eral: details'. • One criticism was
that there was to much glass in
the existing plans fox nen schools.

"The women's meetings ' were'
held lit the Sunday School room, of
St. Andrew's 'Church; on Thursday
afternoon of last week.
The occasion was the annual
get-together of the Woman's Miss..
ionary Society, Woman's Assecia-
tion, Willing Workers; Mission
Band and. 23aby Band, and over
40 women and children were pres-
ent. -
After the regular meeting,. -a
short program was given: by the
younger members, Scripture read-
ing by Jackie Cleave; two piano
numbers -by Katharine Welsh and
a recitation by Linda Scotchmer.
Miss Stirling had' two stories
for the children, told in her own
interesting manner. One was for
ithe little tots about sharing with
others;and one for the older child-
ren about 'a boy who was faithful
in his work and what that did for
him.
At the close all adjourned to,the
"Square" across the street, where
the children ,enjoyed games and
all enjoyed lunch.
