floor-length gown of white Chant-
illy laee and nylOn, tulle over slip,
per satin. The bouffant.sifirt was
fashioned with a deep scalloped
lace insertion edged with 4rides,,
cent sequins over tiered net. 'The
lace jacket wad styled with tiny
Peter Pan cellar edged with se-
quins and tapering lily point sleev-
es, She carried a white Bible cen-
tered with a white erchid, with
rosebuds and
knotted in satin streamers which.
extended to the floor. Her finger-
tip veil. was attached to a head-
piece of shirred nylon net entwin-
ed with tiny pearls and sequins.
Her only atendant • was Miss .
Norma Reay, Clinton, as brides-
maid, who wore .a waltz-length
gown of powder blue glistening
crystalette with matching head-
piece and gloves, She carried a
bouquet of pink carnations.
Little Miss Connie Storey, Till-
sonburg, niece of the gram, was
flower girl, dressed in yellow ny-
lon and white accessories and she
carried a nosegay of yellow roses
and white baby 'mums.
,Groomsman was Gordon Laing,
Cromarty, and ushers were Carm-
an Howatt and Albert • Wasson.
Miss LO7is Grasby, the church or-
ganist accompanied Mrs. , Betty
Wilkins, Auburn, who sang, "The
Lord's Prayer" and "At Dawning."
Following a reception in the
town hall, Blyth, the young couple
left for a wedding trip to the Un-
ited States. For travelling the
bride donned a aqua suit with
white accessories and a corsage of
pink carnations. Upon :their re-
turn they will live at Kingston.
The bride 'has been on the staff
of Clinton Public Hospital.

ried in Blyth United Church on Saturday, June 2, by Rev, A.
W. Watson. The bride is Irene, only daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. George Howatt, Blyth, and her husband is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. John H. Storey, Walton. Before her marriage,
Mrs. Storey was employed with the Clinton Public Hospital.

The . dress featured lace. panels in
the full flared skirt and the bodice
was styled with lily- point sleeves.
and a low neckline. A pearl stud-
ded satin tiara held her embroid-
ered shoulder length. veil of illu-
sion net and she carried a bouquet
of red roses.
Miss Agnes Hicknell, a sister cf
the bride, was maid of honer. She•
wore a waltz length dress' of Chan-
tilly lace and orchid net over taf-
feta with ruffle trimmed skirt and
a matching lace bolero, and she
carried a nosegay of yellow roses.
Miss Anne Stegner, Brussels,
Miss Mary Lou Hallahan; and Miss
Betty Hallahan, both of 'Blyth
were the bridesmaids. They wore
identical; dresses in pink, blue' arid
maize with matching accessories
land carried nosegays of white
carnations.
Michael Hicknell, •a nephew of
the bride, was ring bearer.
;Groomsman was William Hal-
lahan,, Malton, and the ushers
were Peter Hicknell, Kitchener,
and Tony Middigaal, Myth.
The. reception was held at the
home of 'the bride's parents. The
bride's mother received wearing
a pale blue dress with a rose and
navy floral pattern and the 'bride-
groom's mother assisted, wearing
a charcoal gray dress with a pink
floral design and pink accessor-
ies.
For the wedding trip to North-
ern Ontario, the bride chose a
rosewood tailored suit flecked
with navy and navy accessories.
On their return the couple will
live on' the bridegrom"s farm. near
Tile bride, is a graduate of the
Nursing School of the Kitchener-
Waterloo Hospital and, prior to
her marriage was a member of
'the staff of Clinton Public Hos-;
pital.
