' 0-- Ontario St. WA Regular Meeting The Ontario Street Woman's Association met in Tuesday, June 5, in the church parlor with the president Mrs. B, Lavis in charge, and devotions were taken by Mrs. I. Merrill, on the subject "Social Conscience." Mrs E. Radford gave a splendid report of the WA Presbyterial which was held in Ontario Street United Church, Mrs, I. Live47 moro gave' a reading which was enjoyed and little Miss Collins, who is one of Miss E. Wiltse's pupils, gave a couple of instrum- entals, It was decided ‘to cancel meetings for July and August. On June 13 the ladies are in- vited to Turner's Church and will meet at 2 o'clock at the church for conveyance Lunch was ser- ved by the ladies of St. Andrew's ward. The meeting was opened with the 4-H pledge; followed by the minutes of the last meeting. El. Junkin gave an interesting talk on poultry diseases and their prevention; then led in a discussion on that seine subject. Recreation follow- ed, after ,which, the meeting was adjourned. Her bolero jack- et had long pointed slaves and small collar beaded 111seed pearls. A shoulder-length veil was caught to a coronet .of seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of red roses tied with streamers tipped with white baby 'mums. Mrs. Robert Bell, Clinton, was matron of honour, wearing a wal- tz-length dress of .maize, fashion- ed with a fitted bodice of lace on a skirt of net frills and inserts of lace aver taffeta. She wore a bolero of lace with three-quarter gloves and a headdress of flowers. Her bouquet was a cascade of mauve 'mums'. Miss Yyvonne Harris; Goderich, Was. bridesmaid in waltz-length mauve dress with fitted lace bod- ice and a net skirt over taffeta, with three-quarter length gloves, She wore a flowered headdress and carried yellow 'mums. The junior bridesmaid was Lynda Jane MacDonald, -sister of the bride, dressed in ride green, with fitted bodice, a finely pleated nylon skirt of net over -taffeta. She wore gloves to match, and a. flow- ered headdress and carried yel- low 'mums, - Keith -Pratt, Merlin, brother of the groom, was' .groomsman, and ushers' were James MacDonald, brother of the bride and Clarence Pratt, Merlin, brother of the grOOM. Mrs. M. R. Rennie, Seaforth, was organist and accompanied Mrs. Ruth Knox, Clinton, who sang, "Walk Hand in Hand" and while the register was being sign- ed, 'sang, "0 Perfect Love!' Spring flowers were the decora- tions at the Hotel Clinton: for the reception', where the 'bride's moth- er received in French blue lace with pink accessories, and a cor- sage of pink carnations. The growls mother wore navy blue sheer, with white accessories and a corsage of pink carnations. Waitresses were friends of the bride, Mrs; Donald O'Donnell, Miss Joan Craig, Mrs. Ivan. Ebbett, Clinton, and Mrs Madeline For- tune, Seafforth. For travelling the bride donned, a powder blue suit with pink ac- cessories, and a corsage of pink carnations.
