Flight Sergeant Bullen joined
the RCAF in October, 1939, and

time. In 1938 he married the for-
mer Lillian Jamieson of Medicine
Hat, Alberta,
After retirement, Flight Serg-
eant Bullen will. make his home in
Goderich, where lie plans to open
a ' cebinet-making and general
handicrafts businees.He lives at

cellaneous shower for Miss Ann
Bregman, bride-elect of May 26.

of ceremonies was Miss Markel

Maja read the presentation ad-
dress. Ann Alexander and Jean
Anderson brought in the gifts in a
wagon beautifully decorated in
pink,and white. Pink and white
stremers and balloons were the
house decoratiene. The affair was
attended by some 35 neighbours
and friends.

The Ladies' Aid of Cannel Pres-
byterian Church met at the home
of 'Mrs. Alex McGregor. The
devotional aed social paet of the
meeting was taken by Mrs. Al
Orr's group. Mrs. W. R.. Bell read
the Scripture lesson. A discourse
on the lesson was taken by Rev.
D. MacDonald who also contribu-
ted a poem. Mrs. 3. Bonthron
sang a solo; and a saxaphone solo
by A. R. Orr, accompanied by Mrs,
M. Dougall was enjoyed.
The offering was taken by
Kathryn MacGregor and Eleanor
Wright. .A Bible was given Brian
Bonthron for eight years of reg-
ular Sunday School attendance)
The final .donation of $107 for
"Army Presbyterian Girls Home"
was to be forwarded. Alex Mc-
Gregor is to- arrange for laying
the floor in the manse kitchen,
There were 28 adults and six
children present. Plans were out-
lined for a booth at the Hensall
Spring SlibW on June 1.

the South Huron Crusade for
Christ being held at Zurich from
June 17 to July 1. He has been
actively associated with Rev.
Leighton Ford of the Billy Grah-
am team, and was associate ev-
angelist in the Crusade held at
Wingham last year.

Auxiliary met at the home of Mrs.
John Levis on. May 24, with a good
attendance. The meeting opened
with the Lord's Prayer, followed
by the Mothers' promise,
Mrs Dales conducted the busi-
ness of 'the meeting and it was
voted that the proceeds from the
fashion show and the booth be
given the Scouts and Cubs: $80 to
each, This is to help in their
camp project.

Reg. Smith, secretary.
