underwent surgery in Victoria

The May meeting 'of the Wom-
en's Auxiliary of Trinity Church
was held at the home of Mrs. N.
W. Woods, on Thursday last.
It was opened with prayer by
the Rector, the Rev. W. S. Outer-
bridge. Mrs. R. H. F. Gairdner
presided for the first time since
her illness.
Mrs. C. Knuckey acted as sec-
retary in the absence of Mrs. R.
J. Larson. An invitation to attend
the showing of pictures of the
study book from St. George's
Branch, Goderich, was read.
The treasurer reported a dona-
tion, and all pledges met to the
end of June.
The Rector read a chapter from
the Study Book.
Following the Women's Auxil-
iary prayer in unison and benedic-
tion, Mrs. J. B. Higgins, hostess,
served tea.
Trinity Youth
Twenty-three were present at
the Youth Club gathering in Trin-
ity Church Parish Hall on nuns-
day evening.
Under' the chaperonage of the
Rev, and Mrs. W. S. Outerbridge,
the young folk enjoyed a Quiz
contest conducted by Mr. Outer=,
bridge. The girls took sides again-

HOLMESVILLE
Mr, Fred Mulholland was in
Mitchell on Monday, attending the
funeral of his cousin, the late
Samuel Mulholland,
