Welsh, attend the banquet at London on May 23. The meeting closed with the benediction, After the close of the meeting,. Clifford Epps gave a very inter- esting talk on flowers and shrubs,. and showed slides of his trip to Florida. Mrs. John Aklington won the mystery prize. A vote of thanks wag given by Mrs. J. The meet- ing opened with the singing of a hymn, folloWed by the Lord's Prayer in unison, Mrs. Stewart Schoenhals gave, an explanation of the Evangelistic Mission. Miss Jane Batkin fav- oured with a piano solo, It- was voted that $10 be given to the Cancer Society. Canvassers were appointed for the T.B. Cam- paign. Miss Evelyn Hall, guest speaker for the evening gave a review of the book "Gully Farm," by Mary Rienstran. Mrs. C. Pratt and Mrs. McKnight sang a duet, A Vote of thanks was extended to Miss Hall by Miss Mary Nott, seconded by Mrs. Del Slavin. Plans were made to start a trav- elling apron throughout the club for financial purposes and Miss Anne Radley, social convener out- lined plans to the members for a banquet the club will cater to in May.
