Henry Gerrits was wor- ship leader. Hugh Lobb read an Easter poem and George Rueger the Scripture. Mrs. Ray Bird gave a delightful -and instructive suitable story for the • season, entitled 'The Robin's Nest." A treat was passed by , Barbara Howard and Dennis Rueg- er. On Easter Sunday the Junior Choir gave their neighbour, Mrs. Thompson, who is a . shut-in, a pleasant surprise. They met at the home of 'their leader, Mrs. Mervyn Lobb. and sang the Eas- ter music they had prepared for church and a hymn over the tele- phone, Mrs. Thompson expressed her deep thanks and hoped another time they would conic to her bed- side and eing.for her. They plan to do this sometime when she is well enough to receive them. 0 ST. GODERICII PLANS REPAIRS TO COURT HOUSE. PARK AREA Restoration of the Courthouse park grounds at Goderich, for an estimated cost of $7,000 is. being considered in the county town. This will include the expenditure- of $3,000 for seven sidewalks in the park, and putting on of 1,200 yards of top soil, leveling, fertil- izer and grass seed. The official opening of the new County Court- house is scheduled to take place next month. Her veil was of nylon lusion net and she wore the groom's gift .pf a pearl necklace and ear- rings. She carried a white Bible decorated with red roses and satin streamers knotted with lily of the valley. The matron of honour; Mrs. Donald Kay, Clinton; sister of the bride and two bridesmaids, Miss Mary Jean Colquhoun; niece of the groom and Mrs, Douglas Jones, sister-in-law of the bride were gowned alike in ballerina-length red velvet dresses, with full skirts gathered to scalloped and three-quarter length sleeves. They carried white fur muffs and wore head-dresses of white fur. Thomas Colquhoun was his bro- ther's groomsman. and Hugh Col- quhoun, brother of the groom and Douglas Jones -brother of the bride. ushered; A "reception' for 35 guests was. held at Hotel Clinton. • The bride's mother received wearing a dress of rose crepe with navy accessories and corsage of yellow roses and the groom's mother assisted wear- ing open blue silk with white ac- cessories and corsage of pink roses. For travelling the bride donned a light blue tweed suit with navy and white accessories and corsage- of red roses. On their return from a trip to the LTeS.A.
