'Mrs. Mary Somers The death of Mrs. Mary Somers, widow of Adam. Somers, occurred in Clinton Public Hospital, Satur- day night, March 31, following a long illness. She was in her 80th year. In NoVember she fell, breaking her hip, and had been confined to hospital since, She was born in Ireland, daugh- ter of Richard Elliott and Mary Maxwell Elliott, and came to Can- ada when she was ten years old. After her marriage to Adam Somers, who died 20 years ago, she lived in Bussels, and later in Grey and Morris townships, For some years she had made.her home in Brussels; for the .past five years with her son Earl. Surviving are two sons, Earl, Brussels and William, Morris town- ship. 'There are three grandchild- ren.. The body rested at the D. A. Bann funeral home, Brussels, until Tuesday, when Rev. Frederick St., John's Anglican Church conducted the service.
