Patterson reported tax arrears of $1,181.11, or a little over two percent tor 1955. The treasurer suggested the pre- payment of -some- of the county rate. Council decided to pay $6,- 000.00 of the Huron County taxes in advance. Committees appointed: - street committee, Lorne Luker, John Henderson; property committee, Harry Hoy, Jim. Sangster, with the reeve a memeer of both- commit- tees; library board, Mrs., W. 0. Goodwin (three years), Rev. Don7. ald MenDonald (two years); Hen- sail community park board for 'two years: John Drysdale, Donald Joy- nt, Howard Scene, William Fuss, Harvey Keys, John Henderson and James 'Sangster, from the council for one year.
