Clinton Colts lost all chances of
reaching third place in the- WQAA.
Eig-8 last night when they bowed
to Ilderton Wildcats 7-.3 in a
scheduled game played in Clinton.
Lions Arena, It was the first time
that the Cats had been able to de-
feat the Colts, but for the big

ing, but Clinton had a game in

As a result of the week's activ-
ities Clinton Colts wilt, have to be
content with a fourth place finish
This means, that they. will meet
Zurich Flyers; who finished in
fifth spot, in the first round for
the cyclone trophy.
Playoff dates have not been ar-
ranged to date but it is expected
that they will get under way the
latter part of next week.

Are Picked For
"All-Star" Team
Coaches and managers of the
Kinsmen Peewee hockey league
met on Tuesday evening to pick
the best players from the league.
The players picked will receive
extra coaching and training and it
is frOm this group that the team
representing Clinton at Young
Canada. Week in Goderich will be
picked. First practice for the
players will be on Friday after-
noon, February 10 at 5,15 p.m.
Those chosen were: Roger Cum-
mings, Bud Boyce, Maynard Hym-
ers; Fred Lamb, Don Lockwood,
Ken Smith, Leonard Wilson, Bill
Murney, Charles Snell, Raymond
Garon, Borden McRae, Mike Mur-

afternoon at the local gymnasium.
The Seniors almost doubled the
score on, their opponents, winning
41.23, while the zuwor$ were 7.5
points better in. their 38-23 win,
Ron McKay continued to pace
the Seniors with 20 Points in a
game in which the local .quintet
played a very disappointing game.
They started very slowly and at
the end of the .first quarter led by
only 7-2; at half time they were
out in frront 19-4,
