Mrs. Marguerite .-Chopin, Wing- ham, has resumed her duties at Winghani Collegiate after holiday- ing with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Stoltz. Mrs. Albert Campbell who has been a patient in Clinton Public Hospital for the pant six weeks was brought by ambulance to her home but will have to remain in bed for a month. Her sisters, Mrs. Robert Fitzgerald and Mrs. R. Gardiner, Dungannon, are with her. New School Trustee - The annual School meeting of the Auburn School was held in the school. The retiring trustee was W. L. Craig, Robert Turner was appointed for a three year term. Mr. Craig has been appoin- ted to the Goderich District Col- legiate Institute board. Special mention was made of the splendid work done by the teacher, D. A. Mackay. School re-opened Tuesday with Mrs. Hugh Bennett in charge of SS 9, Hullett; Mr. MacKay at Auburn school; Miss Stanley at Prosperity school and Mrs. Sidney Lansing at SS 16, East Wawan- osh. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Toll recently celebrated their 40th wedding 'an-, niversary when they were enter- tained at dinner at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Ken McDoug- 1 and Mrs. McDougal. Mrs. Toll was the former Miss Laura Stew- art, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Stewart, Clinton and Mr. Toll is the son of ,the late Mr. and Mrs: Frederick Toll of East Wawanosli. After their marriage they far- med on the 3rd concession of *Test Wawanosh until nine years ago when they moved to their farm on the outskirts. of Auburn. • They have two sons, Aubrey, East Wawanosh, • and Stewart, Hamilton; two daughters (~Marjor- ie) Mrs. Kenneth McDougal, Aub- urn and. (Amy) Mrs. Hugh Mc- Crostie, Goderich. They have eight grandchildren. All were present for dinner.
