Trinity Party
On Thursday, December 29, the
fine new Trinity Church Parish
Hall reverberated to the sound Of
children's voices and laughter at
the annual Stinday School Christ-
mare Party. It was the first time
that the hall had been used, and
the occasion was symbolic since
the Sunday •School is the future
congregation.
About 50 children were present.
Some were accompanied by their
mothers.

joyed in Bayfield during the
Christme.$ week included. the Ag-
ricultural Society Euchre and
Dance in the Town Hall on Tues-
day, December 27, It was con-
vened by Orville McClinchey and
his committee. Winners at euchre
were: ladies' high, Mrs. Carl Hous-
ton; low, Mrs. Elmer Webster;
men's ,high, James Rouatt, low,
Roy McBride; the lone hand prize
went to Mrs, McMichael. Hank
Norris and his Ranch Boys play-
ed for the dance. The lunch
counter, in the basement was
popular spot,
And on Friday evening L.O.L.
No. 24 held its annual New Year's
party, Prizes for progressive eu-
chre were won by Mrs. Walter
Westlake (high); Mrs. Charles
Scotchmer (low); Einerson Heard
(high); Ninian Heard (low); lone
hands, Miss Dorothy Ann Mac-
Leod and Orville MeClinchey. The
refreshment booth in the base-
ment was well patronized, Music
was by the Norris orchestra.
