The Watehnight service at Var-
na United Church on New Year's
Eve was well attended. The ser-
vice closed with Charles Wesley's
hymn which rightly belongs to the
New Year, "Come let us anew our
journey pursue, roll round with
the year, and never stand still till
the Master appear."
The rink at Varna is being made
ready for skating and it is hoped
that weather conditions will be
such that the young people will
get plenty of recreation there
this winter. Members of the Or-
ange Lodge as formerly, are, in
charge and are giving their time
and services freely,
During the Christmas holidays,
W. T. McAsh and Robert Taylor
took their Sunday School class of
boys to the rink at Clinton for
skating, On their return they
were entertained at the home of
Mr. Taylor, where a lunch was
served by Mrs. Taylor assisted by
Mrs, McAsh. The boys thorough-
ly enjoyed the evening and are
grateful to those who made it
possible.

The Watehnight service at Var-
na United Church on New Year's
Eve was well attended. The ser-
vice closed with Charles Wesley's
hymn which rightly belongs to the
New Year, "Come let us anew our
journey pursue, roll round with
the year, and never stand still till
the Master appear."
The rink at Varna is being made
ready for skating and it is hoped
that weather conditions will be
such that the young people will
get plenty of recreation there
this winter. Members of the Or-
ange Lodge as formerly, are, in
charge and are giving their time
and services freely,
During the Christmas holidays,
W. T. McAsh and Robert Taylor
took their Sunday School class of
boys to the rink at Clinton for
skating, On their return they
were entertained at the home of
Mr. Taylor, where a lunch was
served by Mrs. Taylor assisted by
Mrs, McAsh. The boys thorough-
ly enjoyed the evening and are
grateful to those who made it
possible.
