A Pretty autumn wedding Was
performed by the 13.ev, John W.

manse in .Seaforth on September'
26, when Pearl Louise Drager and
James Bruce Johnston exchanged
marriage vows.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Drager, Sea -
forth, and the groom is the young-
est son of Mr. and. Mrs, Alfred
Johnston, Varna,
The bride was lovely 'in a waltz -
length gown of bridal pink net
over a Satin slip that had a yolk
of daisies with rhinestone centres.
She were pink nylon half.mittens,
with snatching Pink straw off -the -
face hat, Her corsage was of
blue 'mums,
The bride's sister, Miss Erma
Drager was bridesmaid, attract-
ively dressed in a blue net over
satin dress similar to that of the
bride, with blue nylon half -mittens
and white hat. Her corsage was
of pink 'mums.

For a wedding trip to London
and Niagara Falls, the bride chose
a suit of mauve and pink tweed
with pink accessories and a cor-
sage of blue mums,
The young couple will reside on
the groom's farm south of Varna.
Frank Hill, St, Catherines, was
groomsman,
For a reception at the horne of
the groom's brother-in-law and

Wendorf, organist, played the
wedding music, '
Given in marriage` by Peter Clo-
ghesy, Victoria, B.C., the bride
wore an effective full-length gown
of white Chantilly lace and net
over satin, fashioned with fitted
basque bolero jacket and lily point
sleeves. The full skirt featured
tiers of handkerchief points. Her
long embroidered Cathedral train
was gathered to a cap of match,.

Pearls. She carried a cascade of
pink and white carnations,.
Miss Arley Hendershott, Hodg-
son, Mane as bridesmaid, Wore a
long gown of orchid nylon net over
taffeta, with pleated bodice and
bolero jacket., The full skirt fell
in tiers of handkerchief. points.
She wore a matching velvet flow-
ered bandeau, and carried a bou-
quet of yellow carnations.
Vincent Stephenson, Montreal,
was groomsman.
Following the wedding a recept-
ion was held at the Seeley Apts.,
Clinton, where the bouple will re-
side. Both the bride and bride-
groom are stationed at RCAF.,

A lovely autumn wedding was
solemnized at the home of IV.tr.
and Mrs. Stanley Mitchell, Hen-
sall, on Saturday, September 26,
when their daughter Patricia Ann
became the bride of Elgin Albert
Hendrick, Dashwood, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Samuel Hendrick. Rev.
W. J. Rogers performed the double
ring ceremony amid a setting of
pink and white gladioli and ferns,
Miss Elaine -Schumacher, London,
was soloist, accompanied by Mrs.
W. • 3, Rogers.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, was lovely in a gown
of white French lace and slipper
satin. The fitted bodice fashioned
with lily point sleeves and tiny
buttons down the back, featured
a high neckline with standup
petal collar. The full satin and
lace skirt fell gracefully over a
padded hipline to the floor and
extended into a slight train. Her
embroidered illusion veil fell soft-
ly from a French pleated head-
dress caught at the sides with or-
ange blossoms. She carried a cas-
cade of American Beauty rose
buds and white baby 'mums with
streamers.
Mrs. Grant Gowanlock, Lam-
beth, her matron of honor, chose
a gown of mauve net and lace

bride is the former Lillian Ruth Elliott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
David Elliott, Clinton, and her husband is the son of Mrs. Mabel

guests. Mrs. Cooper wore for her
daughter's wedding a peacock blue
taffeta dress shot with black, and
black accessories, with a corsage
of yellow roses; the bridegroom's
mother was in toast -colored crepe
cuffed in mink, and wore pink ac-
cessories, and pink roses. The
bride's table was centred with a
three -tiered wedding cake embed-
ded in baby chrysanthemums and
topped with a miniature bride and
bridegroom. Mrs. William Rodger
and Miss Irene King poured tea.
