a former prominent Hensall res-
ident, passed away in St, Joseph's
THospital, London, -on Monday,.
September :29. She had been a
patient there for some six weeks.

The former Erma Reid, she
was born. neer 'Varna, and, took
up residence in Hensall nine
years ago. She moved to Lond-
on in July of this year. She was
a member. of Hensall United
Church, and of the Woman's
Missionary Society.
Surviving are One daughter,

Mrs.. John Rathwell, Seaforth;

Friends and relatives: grieved
to learn ef' the passing of Mrs.
Pearl Winnifred Jennison (nee
Haply), wife of Thomas Jennison,
on Wednesday, September 9, who
had been residing is Swift Cur-
rent and district, Saskatchewan,
for the past 44 years,
,She was born on March 30,
1889, in Clinton, and was married
on 1VMarch `6, 1909. In April, 1909,
she and her husband went to
Swift Current and homesteaded
in the Swinton. district, She serv-
ed as secretary of the 'VMS of
tyle Methodist Church from 1910
to 1912,
She was always an active mem-
ber of the church and while en
the farm played the organ for
services for many years in both
Yellow Lake and Swinton services.
In 1942 she moved to Swift
Current and was a member of the
United Church WA Circle and had
served as secretary there. Her loss,
will be greatly felt by all 'thane
who knew her. Their sympathy
was shown by the quantities of
lovely flowers which were brought
to the funeral,
Besides her husband she leaves
to mourn her loss one daughter.

one granddaughter and one grand-
son, Tw.o brothers also survive,
