Elect Officers
On Monday Nigh
The Happy Doubles of Ontario
Street United Church held the an-
nual pot -luck supper and election
of officers, on Monday, October 5,
in the church parlours.
Devotions were taken by the
president, Mrs. Joe Finck. Gwen
Murdoch gave an interesting ac-
count of her ten days at Quin -Me -
Lac Camp which is northof Belle-
ville. This was a camp for lead-
ers as well as for .CGIT members
with each group having a separate
program.
The election of officers resulted
as follows: president, Mildred and
Ross Merrill; vice-president, Gwen
'and Gordon Murdoch; secretary,
Lois and Cecil Elliott; treasurer,
Florence and Don Symons; mem-
bership committee, Helen and Joe
Finck; social committee, Edna and
Roy Wheeler; assistants to the
social, Marion and George Col-
