YPTT Meet About 30 members of local un- ions of the Huron Presbytery Young People's Unoin who were cleaning up the Goderich Summer School grounds a week ago, were guests of the Burns-Londesboro YPU at its regular meeting held in Londesboro United Church on Sunday, May 16. The meeting began with a sing- song led by Gail Manning, follow- ing which the business of the meeting was conducted. The de- votional part of the meeting began with the singing of a hymn and Jack Webster read the scripture. Grant Snell led in prayer. The offering was then taken up. Lloyd Penfound played a guitar selection and Mrs. Harvey Spar - ling gave a report on the National Young Peoples Council held in Winnipeg last summer. The topic of the meeting, "The Rising Cost -of Being a Christian" was given by Maxine Hunking, Mrs. Ted Hunking and Grant Snell, and those present were divided into discussion groups to discuss the topic. Stackhouse have received word that the barn on the farm, at which they lived when they were first married over 50 years ago was completely level- led by the storm and tornado on Monday evening, May 25. Mr. Stackhouse's brother-in-law, Wil- liam McDowell, also reports the barn on his faun was demolished. The meeting was closed with the Mizpah benediction. The remainder of the afternoon was spent in quilting. There were 13 members and three visitors pres- ent. Lunch was servied by the hostess, assisted by Mrs. Biggin and Mrs. M. Jones. The next meeting will be at the home of Mrs. W.
