Rev, A. E. Holley, Exeter, preached the morning ser- vice, while Rev. A. G, Eagle, Clin- ton, had charge of the evening service. A young people's choir provided special Music. male chor- uses sung by 14 young men, and regular choral numbers by the full choir of 25 voices. In the even- ing the Clinton Junior Farmers' Quartette sang twice, and Miss Shirley Maines sang the solo part in a choir number. The Bruce - field 'YPU is a new society, hav- ing organized only last November, Already it is a strong union and is receiving the support of many young people. ONTARIO ST. It was decided to have an auc- tion baking sale to which all members are asked to contribute. An auction basket consisting chiefly of seeds, bulbs and plants brought a total of $19,35 for the Training School Fund, Forty-two adults,' as well as several children, were present at `this meeting, Burns WMS Mrs, Wesley Roe was hostess to the Burns Woman's Missionary Society on Thursday, April 30. Mrs. Frank MacGregor conducted the worship service, assisted by members of her group. Mrs. Wes- ley Roe gave a reading on Christ- ian Stewardship.
