OPEN FOR TRAFFIC
The Houston Bridge at lots 13
concession 6 and 7, H•R,S., in the

been completed and the goad. is
open for traffic. One abutment
of the old bridge caved in during
the spring of 1952. Plans for the
new bridge were prepared by the
Department of Highways of On-
tario and construction was done
by the C. Looby Construction

rew's Presbyterian Church will be

Ewen, on Tuesday, February 3.
RCAF BASKETBALLERS
DEFEAT TOWN TEAM 77-47
On Tuesday night .the RCAF
Clinton basketball team played its
final game of the schedule and
defeated the Clinton squad by a
score of 77-47. The airmen are
now in first position and will play
off with St. Marys to decide the
winner for the Western Ontario
loop play-off. Tom Teek of the
RCAF team and Arkel of Clinton
were top scorers in Tuesday's
game with 19 points each. The
Clinton team played without the
services of some key men because
of injuries and weakened early
under the successful airmen at-
tack. The officials for this game
were R. Allan and G. McMacirn.
