MRS.. 0, 5, HUDSON (By our Hensel'. correspondent) Mrs, C, S. Hudson, highly esteemed and life long resident of Hensall died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Abray, Lon- don, on Monday, January 5, fol., lowing a brief illness, The body rested at the Bonthron funeral home until Wednesday when a largely attended public service was held in Carmel 'Church, conducted by Rev. J. B, Fox, Interment was in Hensall Union Cemetery, Mrs. Hudson left on December 13 to spend a few weeks with members of her family when she was stricken with pneumonia and her death came as a great shock to everyone, The former Annie E. Webber, she was born in Hensall and lived there all her life. She was very active in the work of Carmel Presbyterian Church. She was a life member of the Women"s Missionary Society and with the exception of three years, held the office of president of that organ-, ization since 1935. She .was wel- come and welfare secretary in the Huron Presbyterial since 1940. Gordon R.
