Castle, President, opened the meeting of the Ladies ,Auxiliary to Canadian Legion held on Mon- day, September 8. The secretary read the minutes of the last re- gular meeting and the treasurer, Mrs. E. Denomme, gave the fin- ancial statement showing a sub- stantial balance in the bank. Mrs. Gordon Lawson reported that the Auxiliary had forwarded gifts to the adopted veteran at Red Cross Lodge, London. Miss Marion Pickett took her affirmation as a new member of the Auxiliary. Members who had sold tickets on the Chenille Bed -spread to be drawn for at the Bazaar planned for October 18, handed over their receipts to the treasury.
