A hymn and prayer by Miss S.
Courtice opened the meeting. The
lession was read by Mrs. C, Elliott.
The minutes were received as read
and discussions on the report of
the Set-Up Committee and the
picnic followed. On motion of
Mrs. W. B. Oide and Mrs. Elliott
the recommendations of the Com-
mittee were adopted: The picnic
date was set for Aug. 13, at Lion's
Park, Seaforth, and the following
committees appointed: Sports,

Benevolent Association met for
their regular meeting on Tuesday
evening, July 22.
General business was discussed
and arrangements were made for
the program on August 5, when
Grand Mistress, Amy Johnston,
Toronto, will be present. Sea-
forth, Mitchell a n d Woodharri
lodges hhve been invited to attend.
Four candidates will be initiated
into the lodge at that time. The
degree team is asked to wear
their white 'dresses. A lace table
cloth will be raffled that same
evening.
A special meeting will be held
on Tuesday, July 29, for degree
work, only.

So many ran so closely in the
age 5-10 groups that the judges
were unable to select the
winners and a prize was given to
all runners.
After lunch and ice cream a-
plenty, the crowd. of tired, but
satisfied children, were loathe
to leave the park but nightfall
saw all of them safe at home,
after a pleasant outing.
