The first part of the evening was spent in playing a friendly game of euchre, The highlight of the occasion was the presentation of gifts to three newly-wed couples, of which the three bridegrooms all live within one half mile from the church. Rev. H, J, E. Webb, rec- tor of the parish welcomed ell present and called the newly-mar- rieds to the platform, namely, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Steep; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wipe and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Middleton. O'Neil and Mrs. McKinnon, Clin- ton were present and gave talks on the work of the Hospital Aux- iliary. Tickets were sold on the mystery prize, the winner being Mrs. McKinnon. Mrs, Bert Harris and Mrs. Alvin Betties conducted contests and Mrs. Peter Harrison gave a reading. The meeting was closed by re- peating the Mizpah Benediction and the hostess served a lovely lunch.
