their future studies.
Ancestors From Hayfield
Mr. And Mrs. Harold Scott,
Dearborn, Mich., were guests at
The Little Inn, from Thursday
until Monday. Mrs. Scott's great-
grandfather, James Barge, came
to Hayfield, Canada West, from
England, and settled here with
his family in the spring of 1849.
After a few years he moved to
Clinton, and later spent some
time in Mitchell before going to
Amherstburg to reside. Mr. and
Mrs. Scott were favourably im-
pressed with our quiet pictures-
que village and hope to return
at scene future date.
Outdoor Movies
Through the kindness of G. M.
Galbraith who will show the
films, the directors of the Pioneer
Park Association, have arranged
for an outdoor movie each Wed-
nesday evening during July and
August at Pioneer Park. The first
film, "I'll be your Sweetheart,"
will be -shown on July 2. It is
hoped that those who attend will
contribute generously when a
collection, is taken each night, to
defray the cost of the films, and
build up a fund for park improve-
ment. This year extra seats have
been added and it has also been
suggested' that people bring their
own camp chairs -for greater
comfort,
