Miss Jean Scott was the spec-
ial commentator at the last meet-
ing of Clinton Junior Institute
which convened in the auditor-
ium of the Collegiate building.
Her comments were given at the
display of cottons which were ex-
hibited at the Huron County Fed-
eration of Agriculture Field. Day
held recently at Blyth.
The roll 'call of the members
consisted of the naming of the
number of different seeds she
had planted this spring in her
garden plot.
Miss Scott, as special speaker,
outlined the plan of a good gar-
den and emphasized the import-
ance of testing the soil in it for
best results.
Miss Marion Jones, president
of the Society, expressed the
thanks of those attending to Miss
Scott, for her interesting and
educational talk,
