Five attendants Preceded Cath-
erine Alice Pearl carol, daughter
of Sylvanus Catm, Exeter, and
the late Mrs. Came at her wed-
ding in the Pentecostal Taber-
nacle, Exeter, Saturday, May 31,
at three p,m., Rev. H. T. Kend-
rick performed the ceremony,
assisted by Pastor X, C. Sweig-
art', Clinton when Miss Cann be-
came the bride of Robert Dunn
Ostler, Clinton, son of James H.
Ostler, Norfolk, England, and the
tete Mrs. Ostler.
Mrs. Cecil Kipfer, Hensall,
and Stephen Kendrick, Exeter,
were soloists, accompanied by
Miss Marion Triebner, Exeter,
organist.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore traditional
white satin with lace inserts, long
pointed sleeves and tucked bodice.
A satin headdress held her floor
length veil of French illusion in
place and she carried red roses
with streamers to which were
attached tiny rose buds.
The matron oe honor, Mrs. Don
Jolly,. Exeter, was in mauve
frosted organdy. Bridesmaids,
Mrs. Jean Cutting, Guelph, sister
of the bride, wore blue net;
Misses Ida and Margaret Blanch-
ard, Exeter, nieces of the bride,
chose green and yellow taffeta.
matching headdresses and mittens
completed the ensembles, Pearl
Rochola, Guelph, niece of the
bride, was frocked in pink taf-
feta, carrying a nosegay of car-
nations and sweet peas.
John Ostler, North Bay, was
his brother's groomsman, and the
bride's brothers, Jim and Gordon
Cann, Exeter, ushered,
A reception for 65 guests was
held at Monetta Menard's, Exe-
ter. For travelling to -Niagara
Falls and the USA, the bride don-
ned a pic and pic grey suit with
red accessories; and corsage of
red carnations. They will reside
in Clinton.
