(By our Auburn correspondent) The death occurred in Toronto General Hospital on Tuesday, May 20, of John Beadle, Jr., in his .37th year. Be had been a patient An the hospital since April. He was the son of John Roadie, Saskatoon, :.Sask., spd the late Mrs.. Beadle. He was a veteran Of World War II, having been stationed, at Sky Harbor, - Besides his father lie is sur- vived by two brothers: Frank and Russell, British Columbia, George Beadle,. Auburn, is an uncle. Theftirieral was held from the Arthur Funeral Home, on Thurs- day and was conducted by Rev, C. C, Washington of Icnox United Church, Pall-bearers were; Char- les Beadle, London; Harold C. Lawson, Clinton; Ernest Patter- ion, Thomas Haggitt, Mason Robinson and Stuart Chaim-ley. She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian -Church, Clinton, and was active )in all church organizations, She was also a Member of the Ladies' Auxiliary to the Canadian Legion. Deceased was employed as a saleslady in a department store in Brussels for ten years; in Walton for seven years;_ Mont-, real for ten years, and in Win-. nipeg, 25 years, Twelve years ago she returned to Clinton to make her home with Dr. J. Muriel, Hal- lett Township. Londesboro WI Londesboro Women's Institute will hold its regular meeting in ilonclesporo Community Hall on Thursday afternoon, June 5, at two ,o'elock. B-L YPU, Meets The Missions group, under the direction Of Bill Cowan, was in charge of the B-L YPU meeting held in Londesboro United Church on Sunday right. The meeting started off with a sing- song led by Mrs. Brenton, after which the call to worship was given by Bill Cowan. Hymn 387 was sung, following which the Scripture was read by Grant Snell. The topic on Missions was given in three parts with Edythe Beacom, Mrs., Brenton and Bill Cowan taking part. Grant Snell then gave a reading entitled "Sunup." The offering was then taken up. Hymn 86 was then sung after which this part of the meet- ing was closed with a prayer by Adolph Fangrad. After a short recreation period led by Edythe Beacom, lunch was served and the meeting closed with "Taps."
