After an illness of 'only a week. Mrs. j
Ellen Clutton of Stratford passed a-
way on' Tuesday of last.week at the •
home•of her Sisters, Misses Edith and
Elizabeth Horton, on the Blue Water
highway. Colborne. township. She had
come fiom Stratford' to attend the
funeral of her niece. Mrs. Charles
Moore. became ill. and gradually ,
weakened- ' She was. in her seeenfye,.
seventh year:. A daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs .John' Horton. she 'eves
born 'in Goderich Township, near Clin-
ton, but had lived in the Stratftpd
district for the last forty year_. Her
husband; Gvin -Clutton, . died in 1928.
and of recent years •she had made
her home with her -son, William Clut-
ton,in• Stratford. Two sons and two
daughters survive William and Alex.
of Stratford; :Miss Edith, a missionary
in India, and Mrs. R. Rowe, of Ellice,
township; •also two sisters. already
mentioned, and'three brothers, Henry
Horton. of Ashfield; Hillary' Hortoln'

After an illness of 'only a week. Mrs. j
Ellen Clutton of Stratford passed a-
way on' Tuesday of last.week at the •
home•of her Sisters, Misses Edith and
Elizabeth Horton, on the Blue Water
highway. Colborne. township. She had
come fiom Stratford' to attend the
funeral of her niece. Mrs. Charles
Moore. became ill. and gradually ,
weakened- ' She was. in her seeenfye,.
seventh year:. A daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs .John' Horton. she 'eves
born 'in Goderich Township, near Clin-
ton, but had lived in the Stratftpd
district for the last forty year_. Her
husband; Gvin -Clutton, . died in 1928.
and of recent years •she had made
her home with her -son, William Clut-
ton,in• Stratford. Two sons and two
daughters survive William and Alex.
of Stratford; :Miss Edith, a missionary
in India, and Mrs. R. Rowe, of Ellice,
township; •also two sisters. already
mentioned, and'three brothers, Henry
Horton. of Ashfield; Hillary' Hortoln'
of Exeter, and Horace Horton ,of Col -1'
