reporterof this paper the f.. . ing

taken very i11. He had the bof medi-
cal attendance, but made ve little pro-
gress towards recovery, a, the doctor
told hits there was littr hype that he
would bo able to r t /i to his former
work, The troubl)/appeared to have
located itself in las kidneys, and for
eight weeks or more he was ()oxidised to
bed. He suffered greatly from constant
pains in the back, Isis appetite became
impaired, and hie constitution generally
appeared to be shattered. At this junc-
ture he decide(. to try Dr. Williams'
Pink Pills and got ti half dezeu boxes.
In the course of a couple of weeks he
noticed an ii;iprovement in his conditipn
and he continued the use 0f the pills un-
til ho had taken some ten or twelve box-
es, when he not only felt that his euro
was come lete, but also felt that in all re-
spects his heelth was better than it had
been for years. Since that time he has
been continually driving his coach be-
t tween Caledonia and Liverpool, and has
1 not had the slightest return o; the trouble
notwithstanding that he has to face at
times very inclement weather, that might
well bring on a retnrn of the trouble.
had.' not his system been so strongly
fortified against it through the use of
Dr. Williams' Pink Pills.
If the blood is pard and wholesome
disease cannot exist. The reason why
Dr. Williams' Pink Pills cure so many
,Porins of disease is that they act dircet-
( ly upon the blood and nerves, thus reach-
ing the root of the trouble. Other medi-
cines not only apou the symptoms of the
trouble and that is the reason the trouble
always returns when you cease
these medicines. Dr. Williams' Pink
Pills make permanent ctu'es in kidney
troubles, rheumatism, erysipelas, auaein-
in and kindred diseases. But be sure
you get the geuniuo which bear the full

The Wingham foot -ball club was ad-
vertised to play in Brussels on Tuesday
last, For some reason or other the boy's
did not go over to Brussels.
The Wiugharn baseball club have been
trying to ate -maga the final league match
to decide the championship. Goderich
has decided to drop out and let Clinton
and Wingham settle the matter. P. A.
Angus and Chas. Skeates went to Clin-
ton on Saturday- last, but were unable to
do anything as none of the Clinton boys
could be found. Matters will likely re-
main as they tete for this season,
A few from town went to Wingham
Ott Priday last to see the lady baseball
players defeat the Wingham club. They
report that the ladies put up a good
game and appeared to be a very modest
lot of girls, but that the rowdyism of
the local eittb and their heelers had to
show itself even when playing with
ladies.— Wroxeter Star. Bro. Towns-
end must have been misinformed or ale
would not have penned the above. The
girls did not defeat the Wingham club.
This is the first time we have heard of
rowdyistn among our ball players and
our boys aeted the part of ,gentlemen
when they were playing with the lAdies.
