streets• after., the :British generals,
Havelock; "Outram, etc. ; .

bell arrived: and opened .a general.
store. July 1, 1860, a post oicewas
established '•with 'Mk•. Campbell • as
rostmaster.. He .continued in thispos-
ition until his death when he was
succeeded by ;his daughter. Somerville
:and -.Campbell.. were ' a tower. of
strength to the village as long as life
