On June 10th,' about 75 persons of • the Helm. connection assembled at the home .of, Mr. Wm. Helm, Lot ¢, con. 12, which .'was' the old homestead where Thos. and Elizabeth Helm fainted and raised their family of•• 5 sons and, two daughters.. , The afternoon was spent, in sports and conversation when old, acquaint nates Were renewed and the younger generation got acquainted with their cousins. 'for the friends and about'5.30 in the afternoon the ladies set forth a. boun- tiful luncheon followed by ice cream and candy, which was appreciated by all both young and' 'old. - • After the. refreshments were over the president called. a meeting`.
